Director of sport Matthias Sammer has missed their last two games on the bench alongside coach Pep Guardiola after suffering from a brain disorder. The 48-year-old is suffering from “a tiny circulatory disorder of the brain that will heal completely and without consequence”, according to club doctor Prof. Dr. Roland Schmidt, Bayern said in a statement.
